BrenKir Industrial Supply - "The company you can count on"
BrenKir Industrial Supply is a Newfoundland owned and operated industrial supply company that supplies numerous fire, safety and industrial products to many loyal customers. The company was established on March 15th, 1985 by Mike Brennan and Wade Kirby as a home-based business. The company was moved into its first office space in 1988 and continued to grow from there. In 1991, it became obvious that BrenKir needed to open another store closer to St. John's, thus the Mount Pearl branch was opened. Over the next eleven years the company enjoyed tremendous growth, including new, much larger buildings and additional staff members.
On March 28, 2003 BrenKir Industrial Supply was granted full ISO 9001:2000 Certification showing the company's dedication to quality and service to its customers. The company continued to operate under this certification until March 27, 2009 at which point it was granted full 9001:2008 certification.
In July of 2009, BrenKir Industrial Supply was purchased by Anne Whelan, in hopes that she could further grow the business. In September of 2009, a branch was opened in Placentia, Newfoundland to support the growing customer base in Long Harbor and surrounding areas.
BrenKir Industrial Supply celebrated 25 years of Business on March 15th, 2010. The company's devotion to customer service has allowed them to continue growing and has provided them with 25 years of experience and knowledge in the fire, safety and industrial industries.
BrenKir believes in giving back to the community. Its employees volunteer and donate to over 15 charitable organizations including:

BrenKir's experience has granted them with numerous awards and certifications, including:

- ASQ Quality Recognition Award, Recognizing leadership in quality management (April 19, 2007)

Company president, Anne Whelan, also recently received the Visionary Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs.
